BREW: Special Needs Trusts for Minor and Adult Children with Disabilities

According to the US Census Bureau, 4.3% (over 3.0 million) children under 18 have a disability. There has been a 0.4% increase since 2018, and the largest jump is cognitive impairment.

Objectives for today’s meeting:
1. Learn to identify when a Special Needs Trust may be the best for inheritance for a child of your client.
2. Learn what a Special Needs Trust can and cannot do.
